Raising A Rare is a parent run, 501(c)(3) non-profit that supports the community through events and outreach. They also donate to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to help support the research being done on the SOX5 gene.
Another parent-run non-profit, based in British Columbia, Canada, is Anya's Journey Foundation. Their mission is to raise funds for Lamb-Shaffer Syndrome research and an all inclusive, all-ages playground!
